Our Return Policy & Satisfaction Guarantee

At Red Dog Blue Kat, we take pride in the quality of our food and the happiness of your pets. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, or if you have a concern about product quality, we’re here to help. Please note that all returns must be processed through the retail store where you purchased the product. Below is a guide to help you understand how returns work and what you can expect.

If You Have a Quality Concern

These expanded terms apply in addition to the general coupon terms. Please review the specific conditions for each promotional offer If you believe there’s an issue with the product you purchased (for example: appearance, smell, or packaging concerns), please follow these steps:

  • Return the item to the store where you bought it as soon as possible.

  • Keep the product frozen, if applicable.

  • The retailer may take a photo and ask you for basic details like your name, phone number, and the nature of the issue.

  • In some cases, Red Dog Blue Kat may contact you directly as part of our quality assurance process.

We work closely with our retail partners to investigate and resolve any concerns quickly and fairly.

Not Sure If Your Pet Likes It?

If your pet wasn’t a fan of their Red Dog Blue Kat meal, we totally understand—every animal has their own taste! If you're not satisfied with any RDBK product, it can be returned within 60 days of purchase for a full refund—whether the product is opened or unopened.

To help ensure a positive experience and reduce unnecessary food waste, we strongly encourage customers who are new to RDBK—or trying a new protein or flavour—to start with a single raw tray for frozen raw or an 85 g bag for our gently dried product before investing in a larger amount. This thoughtful approach allows pets to try something new without the risk of waste, and it’s a unique option we’re proud to offer.

To qualify:

  • Return the unused portion and your proof of purchase to the store within 60 days of purchase.

  • The store may ask for your contact details and a quick explanation of why it didn’t work out.
     

If the Product Was Damaged

If your product was damaged when you received it from the store (for example: torn packaging, thawed food, etc.):

  1. Return it to the store within 1–2 days of purchase.

  2. Bring your receipt or proof of purchase if you can.

  3. The store will report the issue to us, and we’ll work together to make it right.

Please Note

We cannot accept returns or offer credits for:
 

  • Products damaged after leaving the store

  • Items that were not kept frozen as required

  • Cases where the full product case was purchased without prior trial of the flavour
