Our Team

TeamMemberInna_1.png Inna Shekhtman
CEO / Top Dog

Inna Shekhtman’s life changed in 2003 when she rescued an Irish Wolfhound/Great Dane mix from a local shelter. Naming the dog Adhara, Inna knew that large breed dogs had the potential for a range of medical issues due to their size. She carefully researched how to best take care of her new family member and that led to discovering the value of feeding dogs and cats a raw food diet. Inna brings a passion for raw food to her work and that, combined with her analytical mind and problem-solving approach to the business, has helped her to create an efficient manufacturing process that consistently produces high quality-products. Her science background is also an asset, as she has immersed herself in areas of animal health and nutrition.

TeamMemberLia.png Lia Padgett
Assistant Operations Manager

Lia manages all of the purchasing and production planning for our company. Each day she continues to improve her skill set and proves herself to be a valuable asset to our daily operations. In her down time, she seeks quiet and one of her favourite pastimes is kicking back on a sun-drenched patio with a cold bevvie in hand. She also runs a side business producing all kinds of delicious Shrub cocktail mixers!

TeamMemberJag.png Jag Gill
Human Resources

Jag is the first face you see when you start your career at Red Dog… and lucky for us it’s a friendly looking one. Jag brings to Red Dog an amazing and calm demeanor and an enthusiasm for a safe and healthy environment. Bonus points to you if you mention his gorgeous dog Tyson in an interview.

TeamMemberAshley.png Ashley Gilmore
Office Administrator

Ashley is the first point of contact for our customers and visitors. As the front office administrator, Ashley can usually be found assisting customers with order inquiries, organizing incoming and outgoing shipments, and working with other team members as needed to ensure that everything runs smoothly. In her down time, she and her rescue dog Rosa find peace and quiet on lengthy, backwoods hikes throughout the Lower Mainland.
